Fighting antibiotic resistance with rapid tests

Antibiotic resistance is becoming a global problem due to excessive prescriptions. To reduce the misuse of antibiotics and the spread of resistant bacteria, we need fast and reliable diagnostic methods. The ETH Zurich Pioneer Fellowship Project Checktor Biosciences is developing a test that can detect multiple infections and resistances within 10 minutes at the point of care.
